  5. Thank you for your interest in competing in the 1992 Developers
  6. Competition.  It looks like it will be one of the most exciting events
  7. of 1992.  As you may imagine, the management of this event can be almost
  8. overwhelming.  For this reason, we have designed this application to be
  9. a one-step process.  To secure a spot, fill out this application,
  10. include complete payment, and we will send your confirmation and hotel
  11. information package.

  13. If you had contacted us earlier, we have reserved a spot for you up
  14. until six weeks from the date of this application.  Please fill out the
  15. application completely as the information you provide will be used in
  16. the proceedings.  Otherwise, team numbers will be assigned on a first
  17. come, first serve basis.  Get your application in early!

  73. By participating in the 1992 Developer's Competition, you agree to the
  74. following:  Rights to each application will remain with the software
  75. developer.  Each developer grants license to use the program at no
  76. charge to the following: 1) The company/organization for which the
  77. application is being written, 2) to The 1992 Developers Competition for
  78. inclusion in "The Proceedings" and 3) for any other use deemed useful
  79. by the Developers Competition.  With the exception of providing "The
  80. Proceedings" at moderate cost ($50-$100), no entity besides the original
  81. developer has the right to sell, market or distribute the applications. 
  82. It is the duty of the developer to include appropriate copyright notices
  83. to this effect.

  85. Any future business arrangement between you and the company/organization
  86. will be made solely by you and the that company/organization and will
  87. not involve the 1992 Developer's Competition.  By signing this
  88. agreement, you also understand that the decision of the judges is final
  89. and no protests will be allowed.  You must sign this agreement to be
  90. eligible to compete in this competition.
